Safe & Sound

Your house, kept clean. Set it and forget it.

Most homeowners live with a dirty house for months before they finally call someone. Safe & Sound members do not. A dedicated technician is on your property on a set schedule, keeping it clean and catching problems early, for one predictable monthly budget.

What homeowners tell us

A house does not stay clean on its own.

Every week we walk properties across Connecticut, and we hear the same stories. Maybe one of these sounds familiar.

Back on the ladder

We hear it on almost every walkaround. Bad knees, shaky balance, a spouse holding the ladder. Twenty feet up is no place to be scooping a gutter.

The gutter guards did not fix it

Fine silt slips through the mesh and packs into the downspout elbows. You cannot see it from the ground until the gutter overflows.

Lichen eating the shingles

Those spots are alive and feeding on the roof. They cannot be scraped off without tearing up the shingle, and left alone they keep spreading.

The corner nobody can reach

Leaves pile up in a roof valley or behind a vent pipe and hold moisture against the house. By the time anyone looks, the wood is soft.

The green came back

You paid to have the house washed a couple of years ago. Now the shady side is green again and you are right back where you started.

The dryer vent nobody checks

Lint packs in out of sight. The U.S. Fire Administration reports failure to clean as the leading factor in home dryer fires.

Why it keeps happening

There are two ways to own a house. Reactive or proactive.

Reactive is how most of us were taught. Wait until it looks bad, then scramble. Find a company, wait for a quote, wait for a date, and by the time the work is done the problem has had another season to grow. Algae, mildew and moss are alive, so a one-time cleaning only resets the clock.

Proactive is different. Someone who knows your house is already on the calendar, sees the problem while it is small and takes care of it before you ever notice. That is the whole idea behind Safe & Sound.

Reactive

  • You live with a dirty house until it bothers you enough to call
  • You find someone, wait for a quote, then wait for a date
  • Small problems grow into repairs: rotted fascia, stained shingles, ice dams
  • A different crew every time, who has never seen your house
  • A surprise bill whenever something comes up

Proactive with Safe & Sound

  • Your house just stays clean
  • Your visits are already on the calendar. Set it and forget it
  • Problems get caught early, while they are small
  • The same dedicated technician who knows your home
  • One schedule and one monthly budget

Your team on the property

Someone keeping an eye on your home.

Four times a year, a dedicated technician who knows your home does the seasonal work and walks the whole exterior: roof, gutters, siding, trim, decks, walks and vents. Between visits you can call us out for up to an hour every month for anything that comes up.

That is up to 16 visits a year from someone whose job is to look after your house. You get photos of the work, and if we spot something that needs attention, you hear it from us first, not from a leak.

Everything in the plan

One plan. The whole exterior.

Add it up: every exterior service your home needs, a person who knows your house, and someone a phone call away all year.

A reset visit to start

Your first visit is built around what the house needs right now, so the plan starts from clean.

Four seasonal visits a year

Roof soft wash, house wash, gutters cleaned to bare metal and flushed twice a year, gutter brightening, exterior windows, deck, fence and patio, a pollen rinse and garbage can cleaning, each in the season it belongs.

Up to an hour on site every month

Sticks on the roof, a stained patio, the furniture before a party. Call us out for up to an hour each month.

A walkaround on every visit

We look over the whole exterior each time we are there and send photos, so small problems get caught before they turn into repairs.

A dedicated technician

The same person learns your home, your access and your preferences, instead of a new crew every time.

Safety items handled

Dryer vent service twice a year, plus smoke and CO detector battery service.

Five year limited roof warranty

Asphalt shingle roofs steeper than 6 in 12 that we soft wash are covered by our limited roof warranty.

One schedule, one monthly budget

Priced by the size of your home. No new quote every time, no surprise bills, no chasing contractors.

Your member portal

No long-term contract

Easy to start. Easy to stop.

You see your exact monthly price at the property review, before you commit to anything.

  • Your first quarter is paid upfront and covers your reset visit
  • After that, the plan runs month to month
  • Cancel any time with 30 days notice by email, phone or your member portal
  • Prefer a one-time cleaning? We price both from the same review
  • Full details are in the Safe & Sound Plan Terms

How it starts

A 30 minute walk around your property.

  1. Pick a time

Book an On-Site Property Review online or by phone. The homeowner needs to be there for the walk.

  2. Walk it together

We measure, look at surface condition, roof type, access and drainage, and answer every question about how the work is done.

  3. Compare two options

You get pricing for a single visit and for the Safe & Sound plan, built from the same measurements. You choose.

Is it right for you?

Who it is for. And who it is not.

We would rather you pick the right option than the bigger one.

Safe & Sound fits if

  • You plan to stay in the home for a few years or more
  • You would rather it be handled than have to remember it
  • You do not want to be on a ladder or a roof anymore
  • Your house has shade, trees or moisture that bring growth back

A one-time cleaning fits if

  • You are selling in the next few months
  • You need one surface cleaned for a single event
  • You prefer to handle most of the upkeep yourself

American Safe Wash does not do power-washing, which would ruin my shingles, but instead they do softwashing with biodegradable cleaners. The house looks great.

Kate B., Angi review, 2023

House looked like it was freshly painted. Whites were much brighter, mold was gone, and the house looked beautiful.

Gary N., Angi review

Excellent job and great guarantee. Would highly recommend.

Questions

Safe & Sound questions.

What does Safe & Sound cost?

It is priced by the size of your home. We confirm your exact monthly price at the On-Site Property Review, before you commit to anything.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No minimum term. Your first quarter is paid upfront, then the plan runs month to month. You can cancel any time with 30 days notice.

What happens on the first visit?

Your first visit is a reset built around what the house needs right now. After that, your visits follow the seasons.

What can I use the monthly hour for?

Things that come up between visits: sticks on the roof, a stained patio, patio furniture before guests. Request it and we schedule it.

Do I need to be home for visits?

Usually not. We need access to the areas being cleaned and a working outdoor spigot, and we let you know before every visit.

Is soft washing safe for my plants and pets?

We pre-wet and rinse plants near the work area, and we ask that pets stay inside while we clean. Our Terms of Service explain the few conditions to watch for.

What if it rains?

Weather can move a visit. We reschedule to the next workable window and let you know.

What if I sell my home?

You can cancel with 30 days notice or ask us about transferring the plan to the new owner.

Can I still book a one-time cleaning?

Yes. We price a single visit and the plan from the same property review, so you can compare them side by side.
